BENDIGO FAMILY NATURE CLUB is hosting a free event.
For children or minors, accompanied by, an adult.
MOTHS AND SPIDERS AT NIGHT Saturday 10th Sept. 6.15pm – 9.30pm
As the sun goes down the scene will be set to heighten your curiosity about the nightlife of Moths and Spiders.
Meet qualified field guides who will explain the life cycles and habits of these fascinating creatures.
Use nets and Light traps to discover who is out tonight. Then magnifiers reference books, laptops and apps to ID and research what they are doing.
You can bring along a specimen moth or spider to be identified if you like. Be as gentle as possible. And be very careful with spiders , avoid skin contact. Specimens are best viewed in a clear plastic or glass container.
